Sounds of the ocean

A place has an audio signature. Ours is tide, kōrero, gantry and bird.

In consultation, people described Tauranga through sound far more often than through sight: the particular quiet of the estuary at low tide, the harbour bar, morning tūī, the distant mechanical rhythm of the port working through the night.

Sounds of the Ocean is a field-recording archive and a sound identity, a library that partners can use in film, motion and event work so that the brand is recognisable with your eyes shut.

Every recording is captured on location, credited, and released to partners through Brandkit alongside the visual assets.
